Most proctology diseases are not life- threatening, but it can seem embarrassing and uncomfortable to speak about such issues. Although the anus and rectum region can be very sensitive to pain, many patients often wait too long to see a doctor and quietly suffer in pain unnecessarily. The consequences of waiting too long to seek treatment can lead to an inability to work, social isolation (for example incontinence) and depression. In some cases the symptoms can be a sign of a more serious condition, including cancer.

We understand that you may be anxious, but we promise you that we will treat you with the upmost care and respect. Most proctocology diseases can be treated without surgery and without side effects. Almost all patients are positively surprised and relieved once they have been examined and sought treatment, and realize that their worries were unfounded.
